Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has condoled with Deputy Governor Crowther Seth on the demise of his mother, Metusodo Helina Seth who passed on Tuesday, October 6th 2020 after a protracted illness.
This was made known in a statement signed by Press Secretary to the governor, Humwashi Wonosikou.
The Governor prayed for God to grant solace and comfort to Seth and the entire family.
“Mama lived to a ripe age of 118 years bringing up Children in the fear of the Lord, promoting good heritage and moral values,” he stated.
” Mama Helina was a strong Mother and community leader [who] impacted on the lives of many who came across her,” Fintiri said.
“She will be remembered for promoting unity and strong moral values amongst the diverse people of her community. Her sacrifices will not be easily forgotten”
Fintiri said no matter the age of a loved one, death is painful and pray to God to grant the grace to bear the irreparable loss.
“I join the Deputy Governor Crowther Seth, family and the entire Bachama race to mourn late Mama Metusudo Helina Seth. I commend her good services to her community and legacy bequeathed to her Children, Grand and Great Grand Children,” he stated.
