Former governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has been named as the new chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Mu’azu who before now chaired the board of the Pension Commission, PENCOM, will replace the former chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who resigned from his position last Wednesday.
The motion for the nomination of Mr. Mu’azu was moved by the Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda, and was seconded by Senate Leader, Ndoma Egba.
The new chairman has since been sworn in.
