ADC urges FG to revive health infrastructure, economy to tackle COVID-19

African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on the federal government to urgently revive health infrastructure and also take practical economic measures to stem the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

National Vice Chairman of the party, Manzo Mohammed Ibrahim, who made the call yesterday in an interview with newsmen in Bauchi said Nigeria’s health facilities are in a near collapse with outdated facilities, inadequate health personnel and poor working environment.

Ibrahim explained that the advent of the novel coronavirus has triggered a change in all nations of the world, Nigeria not exclusive.

He also said poverty that was growing within the Nigerian populace and that the government must urgently address it.
