Adeleke tasks Iwo residents on projects’ maintenance

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has charged residents of Iwo to ensure maintenance of micro projects executed in the town. 

He gave the charge while inaugurating some micro projects completed by government including boreholes and fully furnished health centers at Oluode community and Odo-Oba area.

The governor reassured people of Iwo that the Iwo/osogbo rehabilitation work would soon be completed. 

City & Crime learnt that the projects were initiated by people of the community and funded by Osun State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) under “Osun Cares.”.  

The General Manager of Osun-CSDP, Aderonke Abokede, said prompt release of fund by Governor Adeleke made it possible to complete the projects. 

The Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Ganiyu Olaoluwa, expressed gratitude to the governor for his commitment to development in rural communities. 

A community leader in Iwo, Adigun Ademola, who spoke on behalf of residents, thanked Governor Adeleke and the CSDA for the projects.
