Senator Adokwe, who spoke through his media aide, Abdullahi Adokwe Ladan, said he has evidence showing electoral officers compromise their constitutional duties, to provide his main challenger, Salisu Egyegbola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) “with a dubious victory.”
Adokwe contested for the third time on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Election results were announced under dubious circumstances without party agents consenting to such, while results from various polling units were freely tampered with, or outrightly cancelled by some electoral officers who compromised their integrity with no cogent reasons,” Ladan said.
