Underdogs, Adoration Boys on Tuesday, December 24 edged out highly rated Arsenal Kiddies Football Academy 3-2 on penalties to lift the 9th edition of Victor Okosun Xmas kids Cup.
The much anticipated encounter at the A-Division lived up to its billing as both teams had gone through difficult routes to get to the final.
To reach the final, Arsenal Kiddies defeated Gerewu FA 2-0 while Adoration Boys defeated Surprise FA on penalties in the other semi-final.
Adoration Boys turned out to be penalty specialists in the competition.

In his closing remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Prince John Oladimeji, praised the kids and their coaches for a successful tournament.
Meanwhile, Arsenal Kiddies Football Academy retained Dr. Chukwudi Ogbolu U-13 Kids Cup played at the same venue on Monday.
The defending champions defeated hard fighting Eshin FA Boys 4-1 in the keenly contested final to win the 5th edition of the tournament.
In his closing remarks at the occasion, the sponsor of the tournament, Dr. Ogbolu, a US-based Medical Practitioner/Philanthropist, congratulated all the participating teams and urged them to always put in their best.
He thanked the organizer of the tournament, a La Liga trained Coach, Soni Ahamioje and the volunteers for their love and passion in the development of football at the grassroots.
