AFAN mourns as National Wheat Association loses president

The President, All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Dr Farouk Rabi’u-Mudi, has condoled with the family of Dr Salim-Saleh Muhammad, President, Wheat Farmers Association of Nigeria (WFAN), who died on Sunday.

Mudi in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja, described his death as an irreparable loss and sad development.

He said the late Muhammad was a renowned farmer and leader respected globally who believed in the future of Nigeria’s agriculture sector.

Mudi added that the late WFAN President was his mentor and a father to all.
