Governor Kayode Fayemi has been commended by Afao Development Council, ADC, for naming one of the model colleges after one of their illustrious sons, Chief Deji Fasuan, in recognition of his contribution to the development of education and the state in general.
Deji Fasuan Model School is one of the four model colleges built to address overpopulation in some schools in the state capital and was commissioned by Fayemi on October 1, in commemoration of the Chief Fasuan’s 90th birthday and 25th anniversary of the creation of Ekiti State.
Chief Fasuan, a retired Permanent Secretary, was the Chairman, Ekiti State Creation Committee.
The commendation was signed by the president of the council, Mr Olusesan Adesuyi, on behalf of the sons and daughters of Afao Ekiti.
