Nigerian Afrobeat artiste Ekene Austin Mgbanwa, popularly known as Afin Oshar, is set to drop a new single.

Born and raised in Lagos State but originally from Aniocha South, Delta State, Afin Oshar began his professional music career in 2012 after being introduced to the industry by Dr Dolor Entertainment, which sponsored his debut hit song Mosquito.

The track enjoyed heavy rotation on major TV and radio stations, earning him multiple show bookings, awards, and growing popularity.

In 2016, Mosquito won the Best Afrobeats People’s Choice Award at the South-South Music Awards (SSMA) held in Delta State.

Afin Oshar rose to wider fame in 2017, collaborating with notable Nigerian artistes and producers such as Teni, Hotkid, and Dr Dolor.

Known for his versatile musical style and motivational content on TikTok and Instagram, he often promotes his personal mantra “Givamchace” — a call for self-belief and perseverance.
