Afrelib Academy, a renowned educational consulting firm with branches in the United Kingdom and Africa, on Tuesday, organised a school leadership workshop.
The workshop, held in Lagos was put together to converge experienced and passionate school leaders in Nigeria who are deeply concerned about various aspects of the Nigerian education sector.
It also aimed at providing a platform for these leaders to collectively address pressing issues in a collaborative and proactive manner.
The programme had about 100 registered participants in attendance.
In his welcome address, Joseph Kolawole Ajuwon, co-founder of Afrelib Academy, said the workshop would inspire new ideas and solutions through insightful discussions.

In her keynote address, Folashade Adefisayo, former Commissioner for Education, Lagos State, said Visioning; Flexibility and adaptability; Decision making; Collaboration and team work; People-focus; Innovation and creativity and Personal leadership and emotional intelligence, as skills required to for leading through crisis and uncertainty.
Olubukola Ola Adewumi, CEO Supreme Education Foundation, Lagos, while speaking on the topic,’The Role of Leadership on Driving Transformation’, challenged leaders to reflect on their roles in driving transformation in school communities.
“The journey of visionary leadership is both challenging and rewarding. By setting a clear direction, inspiring educators, fostering a positive culture, allocating resources wisely, and understanding diverse leadership styles, leaders can drive transformative change within the educational community,” she added.
