African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) is to provide a platform for Africa women, where they can network, brainstorm, team up to form a voice and initiating a movement for their development.
The organisation said the initiative was part of the activities to mark its 10th Anniversary, scheduled to hold at Shehu Musa Yar’ Adua Center, Abuja between July 19th to 21st 2018.
Funder of the organisation, Dr. Elisha Attai, said in a statement, that the Conference would give Africa women the opportunity to improve themselves, creating opportunities for themselves as well as creating solutions for Africa.
The body noted that women of African Descent were invited for the Conference for leadership development and brainstorm for personal development.
The statement added that Governors Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, Siriekke Dickson of Bayelsa state, as well as Samira Bawumia, Julie Okah-Donli, among others are expected to grace the event.
The Conference with the theme, ‘Creating Transgenerational Impact through Innovative Leadership,’ would feature Chief Dr. Jewel-Howard Taylor, Vice President of Liberia as the Keynote Speaker, while Mrs. Aisha Buhari, Wife of the President of Nigeria would be the chief host.
