The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos state Mr. Jimi Agbaje and his running mate Alhaja Safurat Abdulkareem both lost their polling units to the All Progressives Congress (APC) whose governorship candidate Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode is leading in the results of the elections so far announced.

Results trickling in from different polling units monitored by our correspondents showed that the APC governorship candidate and other House of Assembly candidates are leading in the polls.

Results collated and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials at polling units showed that in Agbaje’s polling unit in ward C, Apapa Lagos APC scored 124 votes, while PDP got 88. In his running mate polling unit 009 Badagry, PDP got 72 votes, while APC got 140 votes.
