A legal practitioner, Blessing Agbomhere, has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Etsako Federal Constituency of Edo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration, according to a statement issued by the Blessing Support Organizations (BSO), took place at Auchi Public Field in Etsako West Local Government Area and was attended by party leaders and stakeholders.
The group described the move as signalling “the beginning of a new era of purposeful leadership, renewed hope, and strategic progress” for the constituency.
It noted that Agbomhere has built a reputation as a grassroots mobiliser and advocate for youth inclusion, party development and democratic growth, adding that his track record has earned him support across the constituency.
“As a lawyer, communicator, strategist, and passionate patriot, he possesses the experience, intellect, courage, and energy required to provide effective and impactful representation at the National Assembly. His aspiration is driven by a clear vision focused on inclusive development, economic empowerment, infrastructure renewal, security of lives and property, youth and women advancement, educational support, and expanded access to federal opportunities for the people of Etsako,” the statement read.
The organisation also called on party members, community leaders and other stakeholders across Etsako East, Etsako West and Etsako Central to support the aspiration.
“This movement is bigger than politics. It is about restoring confidence in leadership, empowering our people, and securing a brighter future for the next generation,” the statement added.
The BSO expressed confidence that with collective support, Agbomhere would emerge victorious and provide effective representation for the constituency.
