He said this followed a poll conducted by the Independent Service Delivery Monitoring Group (ISDMG) in which over 5 million Nigerians voted.
Among the honourees were: Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Federal Emergency Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
Presenting the awards to the winners at a ceremony in Abuja, the chairman of the occasion, former Country Director of UNDP Prof. Sam Egwu said the award was instituted in pursuit of the values of excellence in service delivery.
The endorsement was conveyed in a letter to AGIS Director, Mrs. Jamilah Tangaza by the Executive Director of the Independent Service Delivery Monitoring GroupAfter receiving the commemorative shield, AGIS Head of Information and Customer Service who represented the director of AGIS Mrs Jamilah Tangaza at the event, said the award is a testament to the transformative efforts of the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed.
