Agora of Zuba confers 39 new traditional titles on personalities

The Agora of Zuba, His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Mohammed Bello Umar, has announced the conferment of 39 new traditional titles on some personalities in his chiefdom.

Alhaji Umar made the announcement when the recipients of the titles led by the vice chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Mohammed Kassim Ikwa, who was given  the title of Wakili of Zuba chiefdom, paid him a visit in his palace.

The chief also announced Mohammed Magaji as the new ward head of Konkole community in the chiefdom, saying the conferment of the new title was done after unanimous resolution of members of his traditional council.

He said the palace decided to confer the traditional titles on the personalities because of their immense contributions to the palace and the entire chiefdom.

The traditional ruler said the palace was making arrangement to set a day when the 39 title holders and the new ward head of Konkole community would be formally turbaned.

Speaking on behalf of the recipients, the vice chairman appreciated the Agora of Zuba and members of his traditional council for finding them worthy for the titles.

He assured that all the recipients would continue to support the palace for peace, unity and development of Zuba chiefdom.
