A statement by the organisers said the three-day exhibition tagged, “Agra Innovate” is expected to feature some of the agri-business potentials that the Nigerian agricultural sector has to offer.
 “As international attention increasingly turns towards the rapid development and immense potential of the Nigerian agricultural sector, Nigerian and international agri-business leaders, technology suppliers, farmers and investors will soon be gathering in Lagos for Agra Innovate, a ground-breaking new exhibition and conference,” the statement read.
 It added that, “Agra Innovate will offer all Nigerian members of the agricultural sector free access to a vibrant exhibition of agricultural technologists and solution providers from across the globe.
 “The first two days of Agra Innovate will feature a high-level conference with speakers from the key organisations that are helping to drive further transformation in this potentially huge domestic and export market,” the statement added.
 Speaking on the exhibition, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, said: “The Nigerian Government and indeed President Goodluck Jonathan, fully support Agra Innovate Nigeria and we look forward to seeing the best of Nigeria’s agri-business community represented at the event.”
