The Emir Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashar Iliyasu, has said agricultural activities are not new to the people of Kebbi State because agriculture is an old tradition they are used to in the state.

He said he was happy that President Muhammadu Buhari was proud of the agricultural activities that were going on in Kebbi State.

While commending Daily Trust and the state government for the agricultural exhibition, he said it would further help the state to project its agricultural potentials.

He said the country was blessed with agricultural potentials and therefore urged the citizens, particularly youths, to take advantage of the exhibition and other agricultural programmes in the state.

The emir added that, “This is a good development for the state and the country. I am happy there are many farmers here today. It will go a long way to boost the agricultural activities of the state.”
