Manufacturers of agrochemicals and agro machinery have converged at the Marhaba Event arena, Farm Centre in Kano, Kano State for this year Nigeria International Agrochemicals and Agroequipment Expo.

The event, which statedTuesday witnessed the attendance of the some local and international players in the manufacturing of agrochemicals and agricultural equipment.

Some of the international players include Dizengoff-a member of the Bolton group of companies known for its greenhouse technology, irrigation equipment and other farm machinery.

Bayer Middle Africa came with range of agrochemicals for the grains, vegetables and root and tubers.

Other international players include Scilizappa SNC among other agents.

Some of the local companies include “Chinige Technology Services” which showcases array of low cost blend of Chinese and Nigerian multipurpose equipment to help smallholder farmers in the country mechanise their agricultural activities.

The event creates a platform for interaction and connection between farmers and equipment manufacturers as well as agribusiness actors.
