The event will feature big African entertainers who will converge in New York City as nominees, performers and guests for the awards.

On Fri, Aug 31, 2012, the NEA Music on the Catwalk will be hosted by Cool FM’s OAP Freeze at the Dimenna Center for Classical Music to be followed by an after party.

On Sat, Sept 1, 2012, there will be NEA Nollywood Film Festival to be presented by Iroko Partners where Nollywood will meet Hollywood. Same day in the evening, Julius ‘de genius’ Agwu will presents Crack Ya Ribs New York Edition while Sun, Sept 2nd the Annual NEA Awards proper takes place. It will be hosted by “AY the Comedian” and Actress Funke Akindele aka Jenifa at the Skirball Performing Art Center, NYC.
