A global artificial intelligence firm, Dyna.Ai, has officially launched its operations in Nigeria with a high-level closed-door event titled ‘Nigeria Dyna Day’, held in Lagos.
Themed “AI Unleashed: Revolutionising Nigeria’s Financial Future,” the event brought together leaders from the country’s financial, fintech, telecom, and tech ecosystems, including representatives from government agencies and major enterprises.
The chairman and co-president of Dyna.Ai, Mr Tomas Skoumal, described Nigeria as a strategic entry point into Africa, citing the country’s large population, vibrant digital economy, and growing appetite for innovation.
“For us, it makes sense to start in Nigeria. There is no bigger country in Africa—this is where the momentum is,” Skoumal said, adding, “We’re not just here to sell a product—we’re here to build infrastructure, create local jobs, and scale innovation from Nigeria to the rest of Africa.”
He introduced the company’s flagship AI products, including Agent Studio and industry-specific large language models aimed at automating processes in customer service, marketing, human resources, and collections.
Attendees also experienced live demos of AvatarGPT, an interactive AI digital human, and VoiceGPT, a voice agent equipped with local Nigerian accents in Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo.
Delivering the keynote address, Mr Tokoni Peter Igoin, Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovation, said the Nigerian government remains committed to fostering responsible digital innovation.
“Our approach to AI and financial technology is rooted in a positive framework. It encourages creativity while ensuring transparency, data protection, and digital security,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, the Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Mr Olatunbosun Alake, announced the forthcoming release of AI deployment guidelines to guide innovators and developers in the state.
“They are not policies. They are guidelines to ensure we are building products we’d be proud to let our children use,” Alake said, adding that Lagos aims to become a hub for ethical and sustainable AI development.
The event featured panel sessions, live demonstrations, and an immersive AI experience forum where participants engaged directly with Dyna.Ai’s global team.
