Air Peace Limited has taken delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft, further boosting its operational capacity as it prepares to meet increased passenger traffic during the festive season and beyond.
The Embraer 190-100 AR (Advanced Range) jet, registered as 5N-CFM, arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at about 3:13 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
The delivery marks another milestone in the airline’s ongoing fleet expansion and modernization programme.
Configured to seat 99 passengers, the aircraft features 11 Business Class seats and 88 Economy Class seats, offering a blend of comfort, efficiency and reliability. The latest addition becomes the third Embraer 190 inducted into the Air Peace fleet within five months, highlighting the airline’s rapid growth and readiness to support peak travel demand.
The Embraer 190 AR is equipped with fuel-efficient engines designed to reduce carbon emissions, aligning with global sustainability standards.

Its cabin layout includes a 1-2 Business Class configuration and a 2-2 Economy Class arrangement, eliminating middle seats while providing enhanced legroom, quieter cabins and in-seat power outlets for passenger convenience.

Commenting on the development, Air Peace spokesperson, Mr Osifo-Whiskey Efe, described the aircraft’s arrival as timely and strategic.

“We are pleased to add this modern and efficient aircraft to our fleet. The Embraer 190 AR supports our goal of easing air travel across Nigeria, Africa and beyond, while delivering seamless connectivity and a superior passenger experience,” Efe said.

He explained that the aircraft would support increased flight frequencies on key domestic and regional routes during the festive period, improving schedule reliability and easing pressure on high-demand corridors.

For passengers, the additional aircraft translates into increased seat availability, greater flexibility and improved connectivity at a time of heightened travel for family visits, business engagements and tourism.

With a growing and diversified fleet, Air Peace continues to consolidate its position as one of Nigeria’s fastest-expanding airlines, investing in capacity growth, route development and modern aircraft deployment.
