Following viral online reports alleging that Air Peace airline abandoned some of its passengers at the Owerri Airport in Imo State without due process or cancellation of the flight, a passenger has debunked the allegations.

The report had claimed that some passengers were left stranded at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Imo State because of ongoing ticket racketeering.

It alleged that the said Oladele was supposed to fly from Owerri in Imo to Lagos on Sunday afternoon.

The passenger who pleaded anonymity, while debunking the report said: “It is not true Air Peace sacrificed passengers for Dana and United Nigeria passengers as it is being alleged. What is at play is pure attempt to malign Air Peace, an airline that has continued to do its very best, against all the odds, to ensure customer satisfaction.

“The truth of the matter is that the man came late to the airport when check-in had already closed. The flight left exactly on time at 12.20pm”
