Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, has announced the expansion of its regional flight operations across West Africa, with new schedules set to take effect from April 1, 2026, in a move aimed at strengthening regional connectivity and boosting trade and travel within the sub-region.

The airline said the new schedule will enhance seamless travel between Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Accra, Monrovia, and Freetown, providing passengers with improved connectivity and greater flexibility across its growing West African route network.

According to the airline, the expanded operations form part of its broader strategy to position Lagos as a major aviation hub connecting West and Central Africa to international destinations.

Under the new schedule, flights will operate between Lagos – Abidjan – Dakar – Banjul and return on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

 

The airline said the route will improve travel options across the Francophone corridor of West Africa, facilitating easier business and leisure travel between the countries.

 

In addition, Air Peace will operate flights between Lagos, Abidjan and Dakar on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

 

The airline noted that the additional frequencies are designed to accommodate increasing passenger demand between Nigeria and key West African commercial centres.

 

The airline also announced regular flights connecting Lagos, Accra and Monrovia.

 

The service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

 

According to Air Peace, the service will strengthen links between Nigeria, Ghana and Liberia, supporting growing economic and diplomatic ties in the region.

 

Another key route in the expanded network connects Lagos, Accra and Freetown.

 

Flights on the route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

 

The airline said the route will further strengthen travel links between Nigeria, Ghana and Sierra Leone.

 

Air Peace said the new flight schedules were carefully designed to improve connectivity across major West African capitals, enabling passengers to travel more efficiently within the region while connecting seamlessly through its Lagos hub.

 

The airline said the expansion also supports broader efforts aimed at promoting regional integration, trade and tourism across West Africa.

 

Passengers travelling on the routes will benefit from competitive fares and additional baggage allowance, a move the airline said is intended to support business travel, tourism and commercial activities across the region.
