The airlift of Nigerian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia back home will begin on Monday, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) announced on Saturday.
The commission announced this through its Twitter handle @nigeriahajjcom. “Airlift of Nigerian pilgrims to start on 27th August 2018, with three carriers on the same day,” the apex Hajj regulatory agency said.
The commission said the decision was the “aftermath of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria meeting with the three 2018 Hajj Air Carriers held at Nigeria Consulate Office – Jeddah tonight Saturday 25th August 2018.”
NAHCON said the three approved air carriers – Max Air, Medview, and Flynas- will commence return journey on August 27, 2018.
