Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has approved the immediate promotion of civil servants in the state for the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

 The outgoing Head of Service, Mr Soji Eniade, disclosed this in a statement yesterday in Ibadan. 

Mr Eniade said that the governor was greatly committed to the welfare of workers in the state and pledged, on behalf of the workers, that the gesture would be adequately reciprocated through hard work and commitment.

 The Head of Service charged workers in the state to be “diligent, dedicated, devoted and committed”, and to work assiduously towards ensuring financial sufficiency for the state, stating that the ongoing restructuring exercise in the civil/public service was embarked upon to clean and sanitize the system.
