The internal crisis in the Akwa Ibom State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over who is the rightful candidate for Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District between Senator Godswill Akpabio and DIG Udom Ekpoudom (rtd) has been settled.
A reconciliatory meeting, which was held at the residence of Ekpoudom in Uyo was attended by APC’s governorship candidate, Mr Akanimo Udofia, and Akpabio.

They all agreed to close ranks and work together to deliver the party in the election.
Akpabio and Ekpoudom had been dragging the party’s senatorial ticket for Akwa North West until the Supreme Court ruled in favour of Akpabio.
