Akwa United’s quest for its first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title continues today when they visit former champions, Plateau United, in Jos in the Match Day 31 fixtures.

The Promise Keepers who currently top the league table with 56 points, four more points behind second-placed Nasarawa United, will seek to hold on tightly to the top spot.

Meanwhile, in Aba, Enyimba International will look to return to winning ways when they welcome Rivers United to the Enyimba International Stadium, while relegation-bound Adamawa United will play host to MFM FC.

Also, Nasarawa will seek to come back from the loss to Akwa United when they trade tackles with Jigawa Golden Stars while in Okigwe. Heartland will welcome Sunshine Stars.

At the Cathedral, Enugu Rangers hope to maintain the winning streak when they visit Kwara United just as Katsina United will battle FC Ifeanyi Ubah FC.

In the same vein, Kano Pillars who lost to MFM FC will take on Lobi Stars in Kaduna, while Dakkada FC will play against Wikki Tourist in Bauchi.
