Chairman, Board of Trustees of Al-Furqan, Alhaji Shuaibu Ahmadu, who disclosed this said “the reasonable amount” is a capital to assist the women help their respective families in these hard times.
He urged them to make judicious use of the fund for the benefit of their families.
Chief Imam of the Igala Muslims in Kaduna handed over the money to the beneficiaries at the weekly prayer session in Kaduna, last Saturday, November 15.
The foundation also appealed to other well-to-do Muslims to donate their Zakkat to assist other less privileged ummah.
“So far, 10 non-Muslims have embraced Islam since the commencement of the weekly prayer sessions, lectures and sale of Islamic medicines at Al-Furqan,” Alhaji Ahmadu said.
He said many Muslims and non-Muslims alike have been healed of different illnesses at the weekly activities by the foundation.
