The magazine named Al-IHSAN NEWS is being published by the Kaduna State branch of the Council of Ihsan Muslim Community of Nigeria (CIMCON), an umbrella body for Igala Muslims resident in Kaduna State, according to the chairman of the editorial committee, Alhaji Shuaibu Ahmadu.
Abdur-Rahman Yaqub, Yakubu Umar, Mustapha Salihu and Nuruddeen Abubakar are members of the editorial committee, with Abubakar Abdullahi serving as the secretary.
The maiden 32-page maiden edition of Al-IHSAN NEWS delves into the history of CIMCON under the lead headline ‘CIMCON: The beginning …’, there is a SPECIAL REPORT on ‘Da’awah in Igalaland: The results, the challenges’ as well as interviews granted some leaders of the CIMCON.
Daily Trust on Sunday learnt that at a stakeholders’ meeting, the need to sustain the magazine was thoroughly discussed, and a call was made for the strengthening of the circulation and marketing.
