John Mark Yohana, spokesman of the PDP in the state told Daily Trust on phone that the project which was commissioned by Vice President Muhammad Namadi Sambo, was hailed by his party’s leadership as standard.
Sambo commissioned the project on Monday, in company of information minister, Labaran Maku, and two PDP senators, Abdullahi Adamu (PDP, Nasarawa-West), and Suleiman Adokwe (PDP, Nasarawa-South), as well as Chief Yunana Iliya, state party chairman and immediate past deputy governor, John Michael Audu, and other party bigwigs. The vice president hailed the project as superb, and said he was privileged to be part of the “history making” in commissioning Taal Model Schools.
The PDP spokesman said, “Truthfully and sincerely, let’s call a spade a spade. He (Al-Makura) built that model school. We have seen it. There is no way we will say he didn’t do it. Where good things are done, they should be appreciated”, Yohana said, who added that “there is no doubt if you are parent of kids there, you will be happy. People should appreciate good things; he built that school, it is a very good school.”
