ALGON crisis: Board passes vote of confidence on president
The BOT also used the opportunity to address some concerns on vital national issues.
The Board of Trustees of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has passed a vote of confidence on its president, David Kolade.
Arising from a two-hour meeting presided over by its Chairman, Hon. Odunayo Ategbero, the board unanimously took the decision.
In a motion moved by the ALGON Chairman Niger State, Ibrahim Bosso and seconded by Victor Ebonka, the Delta State ALGON Chairman, members’ applauded the leadership of its national president for the civility, unity and peace in the Association.
The BOT also used the opportunity to address some concerns on vital national issues.
They called on Nigerians to continue to cooperate with the security agencies in intelligence gathering to guarantee effective synergy for maximum results.
