Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, the Executive Director, National Film and Video Census Board (NFVCB) said his last good book is Frederic Bastiat’s ‘The Law’. “It opens us to what a free market economy is supposed to be,” he said.

‘The Law’ was written two years after the third French Revolution of 1848 and a few months before Bastiat’s death. It is the work for which Bastiat is most famous. 

In the book’s foreword, written by Walter E. William’s, he described ‘The Law’ as Bastiat’s greatest contribution because he took the discourse out of the ivory tower and made ideas on liberty so clear that even the unlettered can understand them and statists cannot obfuscate them.”
