Four oil wells in Gombe and two in Bauchi. The drilling started like a joke, a risk it was but a risk worth taking, and now we can see the result it has yielded. A greater boaster this will be to the economy and development of the North East region.

Many thanks to President Muhammadu Buhari for his zeal and determination towards the project, and due to this efforts of his the discovery was made. The words of appreciation cannot be complete without appreciating and acknowledging the efforts of Maikanti Baro the immediate past GMD NNPC towards the discovery which was possible due  to his  determination and zeal towards the project. May the discovery of the black gold be a blessing and not a curse to the region. Ameen. Congratulations  North East Sub-Region, Northern Nigeria and Nigeria at large.
