Presenting the keys to the building, the Head of Project Planning and Implementation of the CBN, Architect Victor Udeh said the donation was part of the social responsibility of the apex bank.
He restated the determination of the CBN toward uplifting the standard of education in the country through the provision of infrastructure.
The vice chancellor, Professor Kyari Mohammad, assured the CBN management that the university would make judicious use of the library in facilitating research and learning.
 Kyari commended the CBN for the donation which he said would open new opportunities to students and staff.
The acting university librarian, Abba Tukur, described the donation as a sign of concern for education and called on other organisations and individuals to imbibe the gesture.
