The Coal City lads have been dumped to the third spot, three points adrift leaders, Kano Pillars after midweek’s Matchday 37 tie 0-3 misadventure at title-chasers, Lobi Stars at Katsina-Ala.

Emordi told SuperSport.com that his side still fancy a miraculous top finishing at the end of the season.

“Of course, nothing is impossible. The other two contenders, Kano Pillars and Lobi Stars are playing their last games at away while we face Sharks at home.

“I don’t expect a sell-out from Kaduna United against Lobi knowing fully well that their position on the log is still shaky, so I expect an explosive game.

“The same applies to Sunshine Stars against Pillars. I can’t imagine Sunshine stooping low for Pillars especially as no one can say assuredly that they will win the CAF Champions League title.

“They have chance to appear at the continent next year with a win, so I expect a good game in that encounter, too.

“I expect a photo-finish at the top and I know my wards understand that goals may eventually decide the winner and loser of the title.

“But left to me I would rather want the will of God to happen. It’s not a do-or-die affairs, we tried our best, I’m certain nobody gave Rangers a chance or expected them to be where they are at the moment,” he said.
