It is to bring players in the economy together and stress the health benefit of sports, the Fund’s Secretary, Tunde Bank-Anthony, said in Lagos on Thursday.
Bank-Anthony said it would also promote Lagos as a sport friendly city, adding that that no fewer than 1,000 people had registered for the race.
He said among those, who registered was the Head of Service of Lagos State, Mr Segun Ogunlewe.
The secretary said different agencies, including Lagos State Waste Management Agency (LAWMA), Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), Kick Against Discipline (KAI), and Lagos State Ambulance Bus (LASAMBUS) had been contacted for assistance during the exercise.
The 10km race will start at Tafawa Balewa Square at 8 a.m. and end at the Atlantic City in Victoria Island. (NAN)
