The interaction which was held at Shagalinku restaurant in Kano was attended by artistes who will feature in the film, producers, marketers and other stakeholders in the industry.

In an interview with pressmen at the venue of the event, the director of the movie Malam Aminu Saira said he wrote the story nine years ago and has been waiting for the right time to translate the story into a movie. According to him, he now feels the industry has the capacity to pull off such an ambitious story and that is why he is ready to start shooting the movie with an estimated budget of N11m. Arrangements to start shooting have been completed.

Saira said the interaction was purposely organized to showcase to all stakeholders in the industry what the film is all about and added that the doors are open to all participants for suggestions and corrections where necessary.

“We did this to maintain our agenda of positive transformation of the industry. We showcase to stakeholders what the story contains and also to showcase to all the arrangement made towards a successful shooting of the movie Dan Marayan Zaki. We have estimated that the movie will gulp over N11m; however our doors are open to all participants for suggestions and corrections where necessary, he said.

The movie will star actors like Sadiq Sani Sadiq, Nafisa Abdullahi, Ahmad Jos among others.
