Chika Ahize of a prayer ministry in Kubwa, Abuja was in 2011 arraigned by the Commissioner of Police along with Emmanuel Oladapo and Ngozi Ahize over alleged joint act and forgery contrary to sections 79 and 364 of the Penal Code.
 Magistrate Usman Shuaibu last week refused the application and ordered the accused persons to face trial.
According to the charge sheet filed by the police through the prosecutor, Yusuf Auta, the pastor allegedly converted a two-bedroom bungalow belonging to one Ifeyinwa Okafor in Phase 4, Kubwa, Abuja.
He was further accused of forging the signature of Okafor for an agreement purportedly made between them to transfer ownership of the house to him as a gift for prayers.
 According to Okafor, she met the pastor through a friend of hers who was an evangelist after he complained of accommodation problem and she decided to accommodate him in the house, which was the uncompleted.
 She said she gave the accused person the original documents of the plot when he promised to help her rectify the papers with the Development Control.
 The case has been adjourned to October13.
