There were lots of activities that left the audience spell bound throughout the event. One of Nigeria’s R&B musicians Soul ‘E’ Baba kept the crowd screaming on their feet while he performed on stage. The audience never stopped laughing as Abuja based comedian Ghana-must-go cracked jokes that left them laughing all through.
The audience never stopped giving standing ovations to the award recipients at the mention of their names for their awards.
Part of the award recipients present at the event were CEO
Amax, Amaka Nwabichiri, CEO, Kefiano Global Concepts, Kefas Ropshik, CEO, Fedoz Nig. Ltd, Ferdinand Nwankwo, Abuja based comedian, Peter Ogbudu aka Ghana-must-go, Gospel singer Asu Ekiye, Chief Frank Chukkas, amongst others.
Ace gospel musician, Asu Ekiye who expressed delighted over his recognition said though he had bagged lots of award nationally and internationally yet she appreciated the fact that all he has been doing in the society is been recognized.
Another recipient, Amaka Nwabichiri, who referred to the popular saying which goes thus; if you praise someone for what he has done he would do more, urged the organizers of the event to keep up the good work and ensure they make it an annual event so that other people could be recognized.
Kefas Ropshir, who also received an award, said the award will encourage him to keep doing what he has been doing to affect lives.
Speaking to Sunday Trust, the Publisher of the magazine, Mr. Kingsley Amafibe said the selected people for the humanity awards were chosen based on the extent they have affected the lives of poor people in the society.
The occasion unveiled Alpha plus mega magazine, which is a new celebrity publication. The publisher disclosed that the magazine, which is being unveiled into the market after 10 editions, was because of the rebranding process which it had to go through at each production, though it has been launched “we are still rebranding.”
