He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) moments after the match played at the Area 3 pitch in Abuja that the errors were those that could have been avoided.

NAN reports that the match was one of the fixtures in the competition’s third round.

Oluyede said in spite of the fact that the players did a good job during the game, the two goals conceded by the team earlier in the match had however destabilised them.

“After going two goals down, the other side had something to hold onto and that made it doubly difficult for our guys to score. But we got a goal and we had chances but we just didn’t finish well.

“The two goals we conceded were through goalkeeper’s errors and you can’t prepare for that or blame somebody for something like that,’’ he said.

The club chairman however said he was not disappointed with the team’s performance on Friday.

“This is the same goalkeeper that has been in goal for us since, and he’s been doing excellently. But today, for some reasons, we lost the match,’’ he said. NAN)
