The Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education will today resume academic work

following the suspension of four months of closure by the management after a violent demonstration by students.

The registrar of the institution, Mrs.Ngozi Aguta, announced the reopening in a statement yesterday

The management of the institution had on July 9, announced the indefinite closure of all activities, following a disagreement between the institution’s authority and the students Union Government, a disagreement that ended in students allegedly destroying valuable properties.
