The Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the FCT, Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has urged politicians to shun character assassination and condemnation.
Candido, who made the call when APC members of the council visited him in celebration of the Democracy Day, said party members should not be involved in damaging peoples’ names, adding that they should play politics without hatred or bitterness and called on them to be disciplined.
The APC Chairman in the council, Abbas Baba, also tasked the members on unity for the sustainability of the party in government.
Abbas said APC would do everything humanly possible to remain in power in the council in 2022 and 2023, noting that the party had performed above average.
