‘AMAC chair’s re-election, a vote of confidence’

The Action Alliance (AA) councillorship candidate for Wuse Ward in the 2026 Area Council election, Kelvin N. Onodegba, has described the re-election of the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, as a resounding vote of confidence by the people.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Onodegba said Maikalangu’s victory at the polls reflects the residents’ trust and satisfaction with his performance in office.

He noted that the Chairman’s return to office demonstrates the electorate’s belief in continuity, stability, and sustained development across the council.

Onodegba expressed optimism that the Chairman’s second term would consolidate ongoing projects and deepen grassroots governance.

He also urged Maikalangu to remain committed to transparency, accountability, and inclusive development.
