Coach Oluwole Babatunde, the newly inaugurated leader of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Football Coaches Council, says his administration will prioritize unity, coach education, and collaboration to advance grassroots football development.

Babatunde spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at the weekend in Abuja following the inauguration of the council’s new leadership.

The event was held at the Old Parade Ground football pitch in Area 10.

He described the inauguration as a moment of joy, noting that the election process concluded peacefully.

“Today’s inauguration as leader of the AMAC Football Coaches Council is a moment of great joy for me,” he said. “I am happy that the election has come and gone peacefully.” (NAN)

Babatunde noted that while some stakeholders had initially doubted the process, the election was ultimately conducted with success.

He attributed this outcome to the support of the state body, the Independent Monitoring Committee (IMC), and the association’s leadership. (NAN)
