The Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, Ambassador Lois Andrew Ihwo, has been inducted into the International Society of Diplomats (ISD), a global organisation focused on promoting international cooperation, peace, and diplomacy.
The induction ceremony was held in Abuja and attended by members of the diplomatic community, government officials, business leaders, and civil society representatives.
The ISD works with governments and international agencies to advance diplomacy, peacebuilding, and alternative dispute resolution. The organisation engages in dialogue, negotiation, and cooperation initiatives aimed at addressing global and regional challenges.
During the ceremony, Ihwo was also presented with an award recognising her contributions to youth development and peace-related initiatives.
Her induction follows a recent traditional honour conferred on her in Jiwa, Abuja Municipal Area Council, where she was recognised by community leaders for her social and development-related activities.
Ihwo has been involved in entrepreneurship and community outreach programmes focused on skills development, health awareness, and support for underserved communities through both personal initiatives and her business platform.
She was previously recognised at the Africa–UK Trade and Investment Conference and Awards 2025 in London, where she received an award in the category of affordable luxury kitchen solutions.
