The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has commenced what his administration has tagged: “21st Century Leadership Training Exercise” for workers in the state public service.

Speaking at the launching of the pogramme in Lagos, Gov. Ambode said the training was useful in view of governance challenges in the 21st Century and the need for the workforce to be dynamic and fit into the reality of time.

Ambode who was represented by the Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pension, Dr. Akintola Benson Oke, said the state government was concerned about modern training of its workforce because it led to increased productivity.

“When each officer of the Lagos State Civil Service is productive, members of the public interfacing with the civil service will obtain such huge benefits and satisfaction,” he said.
