Being one the pioneers of Kannywood, many believe that the industry is missing Aminu’s relevance. But when our correspondent caught up with Aminu, the riddle of his mysterious disappearance from the movie world was solved.

According to the actor, he only took a leave from acting to pursue his educational ambition and to follow his family tradition of medical practice.

“I did not completely leave the industry; I just stepped aside to pursue my educational ambition. What I wanted to do would not allow me to have full focus on the industry. So instead of mixing the two and getting none, I opted to rest the issue of the movie industry.

“ I came from a family of medical professionals and I want to keep the tradition; that was why I left for Ibadan where I did my studies and now I am fully engaged in the state ministry of health as a medical personnel,” Acid said

Many will think that being absent from the industry for over eight years will affect the actor’s attachment with Kannywood, but Aminu said he is determined more than ever to be fully reengaged in the movie industry. He said he is now staging a comeback to the industry in a big way.

“Now that I have accomplished my wish, I will channel all my focus on my movie career, I am going to stage my come back to the industry in a big way. My fans should expect the best from me; I am going to be the Aminu Acid they know; the man who protects and portrays his religious values, a man who protects and promotes his traditional and cultural values. My coming back I believe is going to make a positive impact on the industry and my contribution to the sector will uplift the industry’s standard. Already I have my stories, I have registered with all the necessary bodies and I am presently working on some of the movies,” he stated.

Aminu also said he is going to combine his medical knowledge and acting skills in producing first class movies that will help in enlightening the public on pressing issues that affect the general public. He stated that his movies will soon be completed and he hopes that his coming back to the industry will mark the beginning of a new era in the Hausa movie industry.
