Men of the Amotekun corps in Ekiti State have arrested four suspected criminals for stealing electricity cable and dealing with fake currency.
Parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Ado-Ekiti, the commandant of the corps in the state, Brid.-Gen. Joe Komolafe (Rtd), said the suspects are Niyi Akomolafe, Bashiru Rasaki, Sunday Tunde and Ajayi Toyin.
The Amotekun boss said Basiru Rasaki, an ex-convict, was arrested for stealing plumbing machine at a popular event centre in the state capital.
“He has been to the prisons two times and when we interrogated him, he said he was released during the last clemency granted by the state.
“On Sunday, we trailed him to his hideout , where we met him in company of two other people, Ajayi and Sunday, who deals in Indian hemp at Atikankan area.’’
