Amotekun Corps arrests 19 over burglary, fraud in Ekiti

Operatives of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps have arrested 19 persons over alleged burglary and defrauding of innocent citizens.

 The suspects were arrested during a raid at various flash points at Atikankan and Okeyinmi areas in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

 Corp Commandant in Ekiti State, Brig Gen. Joe Komolafe (Retd), said 13 of the suspects were arrested at Atikankan for burglary while the rest six were arrested at Oke-Ila and Okeyinmi over alleged swindling of people. 

He said items like generating set, iron rods and water pumping machines among others were recovered from them.
