Two decayed bodies of two young girls have been found in a bush in Aramoko-Ekiti, Ekiti State by the Amotekun Corps in the state.
The head of communications, of the corps, Mr Adeleye Abiodun, in a public statement, confirmed the remains of the girls who were murdered in the bush.
“The remains of Taiwo (age withheld) were found inside the bush at Egbewa Street behind an uncompleted building in Aramoko-Ekiti, while the corpse of an 18-year-old Fatoki Seun, was discovered inside the bush at Oke-Oja Street in Aramoko.
Adewale stated that the long-decayed remains led to air pollution at the scene.
They have since been evacuated by the health environmental officers in Aramoko-Ekiti to the general hospital of the town.
In another development, the Amotekun Corps, has arrested one Segun Asamolepo, at Oke-bola, for allegedly stealing government property meant for the construction of the flyover at Ijigbo area in Ado-Ekiti.
Also, a 56-year-old man, Ayo Kayode, was allegedly caught at Efon Alaaye for stealing chickens. The suspect was said to have confessed to the crime upon interrogation.
The two suspects have since been handed over to the police for further investigations.
